My story.
Hi, I'm Alexis Roberson, MS, LMFT (she/her). I'm the founder of Sana Copia.
What drives me.
I'm driven by the desire to help you feel seen and supported as you embark on a healing journey. Through Sana Copia, I help my clients develop and sustain healthy rhythms to restore energy, wellness and balance. My core programs provide a collective group experience fostering deep connection, healing, and growth.
I draw on multiple healing modalities to assist my clients in developing a truer sense of themselves. I am energized and deeply fulfilled by helping others create connections, both internally and externally, as they establish the self-love and easeful living we all deserve to enjoy.
My professional journey and qualifications.
I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, a professional member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and I've operated a private psychotherapy practice since 2016. I'm an Internal Family Systems practitioner, a Yoga Health Coach, and a former Youth Mental Health First Aid trainer through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
I began my career as a licensed massage therapist, providing hands-on healing in various settings, including a hospital maternity ward where I performed postpartum healing and recovery bodywork sessions for new mothers.
I have personal experience with autoimmune disease and health transformation.
I learned the hard way that it's all too easy to skid into the territory of burnout, along with a host of physical symptoms that accompany it. About six years ago, despite knowing everything I know, I still fell into the trap of over-working, over-giving, and over-scheduling.
I didn’t realize until it was too late that I had pushed past all of my limits. I landed in a maze of health crises, one after another, for three long and lonely years. During that time, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis – a common autoimmune disease. I slowly dug my way out, but it came at a high cost.
Like everyone, I've been knocked down. I've been frustrated and lonely. I know what it feels like to be hopeless. I also know that it's possible to heal, and I'm driven to help other people avoid what I went through.
A little about my life.
I live in Olympia, Washington with my husband and two delightfully neuro-diverse children (I'll share more about my parenting experience soon in an upcoming blog). In my free time*, I enjoy walking away from the computer to get outside, practice yoga, fuss with my plants, and shop the bulk aisle at the co-op.
*As a working mom, I have learned to define free time as free moments! And I relish them.
My mission
To help others feel seen and supported as they embark on a healing journey.
I believe in the goodness of the human spirit and stand firm in my belief that we're all doing the best we can.

My vision
To bring BodyMind healing and sustained wellness into the lives and homes of individuals and families around the world.
My Values
My #1 value is to provide a safe space where healing and growth can occur naturally. If you work with me, that’s something you can count on. Without safety, we can't take risks, practice failing, or truly evolve. Healing takes place when you feel supported, respected, and willing to be vulnerable.
As an empath, I identify with and embrace—rather than judge—my participants' experiences, feelings, and perspectives about their life situations. I am honored to witness immeasurable courage on a daily basis. With the utmost respect and tenderness, I remind others to turn compassion inward as often as possible.
I'm not the expert in your life, nor do you need me to be. I reserve that honorable position for you, where it belongs. I simply remain curious about how I can help you tune into your own ability to heal, grow, and thrive. By remaining curious, I am able to actively listen and to provide support as you begin to transform your life.
My clients come away with a deeper understanding of how they got “here.” They learn how to listen deeply to themselves and how to use their inner-wisdom to influence choices. Every client has a unique set of needs - I guide them safely toward figuring out what they are and how to meet them.
Join our flock.
"Alexis is such a rare find. She is a natural healer and an intuitive teacher who offers her knowledge with kindness and generosity. I have witnessed firsthand how skillful she is at inspiring others to manifest their dreams into reality, as she was instrumental in helping me build my own business several years ago. Since then, she has been there every step of the way to offer encouragement and support. Alexis’ unique combination of clinical experience, personal wisdom, and open-hearted intuition make her exceptional at her craft, and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking healing and guidance."
